You might want to let the smoke clear on this. There’s talk that tenure wasn’t going to be offered to her. For a professor who puts a couple of years into a university...that’s a huge let-down. The funny thing about this episode...why would a Harvard-player allow themselves to come to the Huntsville University?
One key thing is that most of the major companies in the local area laugh over this university...they tend to recruit loser instructors...so the students really aren’t of the quality that the companies seek. The companies end up at other major universities in the region to recruit new employees.
There’s more to this episode in the end....I think. But again...we go back to the discussion of letting people carry weapons on a campus to protect themselves...which is a sad topic to have to find logic in.

Many of their earlier engineering professors were Germans who were part of Werner Von Braun's V2 rocket design team that came over from Peenemunde after WWII to help us go to the moon.
The near by technical library at the Redstone Arsenal is considered the greatest depository of rocket science information in the world.
I Attended UAH in the 60's and found their instructers in Engineering and Physics first rate.
