Simple - and unfortunate that she didn’t just say no, which is basically where she was going until her motormouth took over and created enough fog that KBH and Perry will be able to tag her as a Truther. Oh well...

Ron Paul is a Truther. Unfortunately there is some crossover in both parties although yes more so on the Democrat’s side. Only because conservatives refuse to tolerate these people but the Democrat’s were willing to because it served a political end. I do understand both parties play with the fringe but when the conpiracy theory involves the murder of 3000 citizens it’s incumbent on everyone to run them out.

This woman is no longer a serious candidate for any elective office.. period.. end of story... time to move on to someone else.
From what I saw and heard in Texas this week... I think Bill White has a VERY good chance of being the next Govenor of Texas. He’s a fairly moderate Democrat, who did a reasonable job as Mayor of Houston.
People are sick of Perry after 10 years... Kay is a RINO extraordinaire... True conservatives will not vote for her. After Rick and Kay are done covering each other in mud, White will be looking pretty good.
Now, I’m waiting for Glenn Beck to ask Rand Paul the same question regarding 9/11 Trutherism.
Would the ‘D’ factor be a problem in Texas?
I was in the car and I heard this very focused, very articulate, well reasoned individual offer her views.
I must have stepped out of the car at the exact moment Beck asked his 'gotcha' question because when I returned he and the boys were in hoot and holler mode about what a whack job was a-running for governor.
It is hard to figure which is a bigger surprise- her inability to answer a question after a year on the campaign trail or Beck's delight in his ability to take out "the whack job"
I thought he was "one of the good guys"
I need to find a copy of the whole interview to determine what happened.

After reciting the usual sociological self-profiling in answering Beck’s questions —you know , the usual “I’m a real conservative, a small business owner, I believe in the Constitution and gun ownership, etc. etc.” , she then couldn’t find a way to wriggle out of her obvious sympathy with the 9-11 Truther positions.....she came across as a kook, who stepped into quicksand IMMEDIATELY after thinking she’d ‘established’ her conservative bona fides/ NOT a good risk, and a likely wasted vote.
Would that Obama had been asked a few simple yes or no answers.
Doubt it. If polling had even Medina beating the Dem then I suspect the Republican will be a lock for the election. This is not a Democrat year and weariness with Perry won’t be enough to offset natural voting constituencies here.
Okay, so Beck handed her a hand grenade.
But,she pulled the pin and put it in her own mouth.
Beck is a powerful puppetmaster. He spoke those words that came out of her mouth.
And truth to tell, Rove made him do it.

Exit, stage left. I don’t see how any patriotic American can buy into this truther crap. I know people who saw the plane-—as in AIRPLANE, not missile-—go into the Pentagon, clipping off light poles as it went in, it was so low. Barbara Olsen placed a phone call from the plane. Jeez.
