In the early days of the Obama Presidency the relationship between White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and the Washington press corps was like a marriage made in heaven. Today, however, that relationship indicates possible trouble in paradise.
The press as a whole had clearly assumed a cheerleading role for Barack Obama during the campaign and during the early days of the Administration. White House press conferences were thus characterized by lighthearted banter, humor, laughter, and easy questions that were noticeably lacking in the normal aggressive push to dig deeper into policy decisions.

Gibb’s days are numbered. He decided he was the star of the show, and that’s not supposed to be the role of a White House press sec. My prediction: the call for resumes is already out and Laughing Boy will be gone within three months.
Gibbs sarcastic, condescension is repelling.

I will miss him if he goes. He is one of our greatest allies in the WH. He really can do no harm except to the WH and the dems.
Robert Gibbs is an insect. A despicable , snarky, vicious little man who needs a good punch in the mouth and I’d love to deliver it to him.

There was a recent change, it’s now called, “Washington press corpsE “.
That bug disgusts me, but every time he opens his mouth he hurts Obama, so it’s not all bad.
