I didn't know whether or not to laugh at this or think it was going to be a new talking point for the insane left.
Either way I thought it was worth bringing up since it's generating a lot of attention amongst the online left today.
The owners huh? By my calculations given how much I own and how quickly Obama and his ilk are wasting wealth I get about 1/10 of a second for all my stuff to vanish.
The slightly revamped version of the ‘30s (or before) “the Bosses”. It first was used in class warfare—the struggle between the working poor and their bosses—to organize labor unions. “Bosses” became more generalized, meaning any large group with power and money. Well, bosses, owners, whatever. New boss, same as the old boss.
I don’t own crap.
I have a mortgage on a condo owned by Chase, that is if the City of Atlanta doesn’t lay claim to it first if I miss a tax payment.
The work I have, when I have it, is divided 50 percent to pay taxes and fees to the federal, state, and city governments, so I don’t even own but 50% of my time.
I own a car, but I can’t use it unless I pay for the tags and registration and insurance to take it on the roads that I don’t own but do pay for.
So, I may own some clothes, and a few odds and ends, but aside from that, I ask for permission to use things from every entity that actually owns it.
I ‘own’ a shotgun. Does that count?
If you’re not an owner, does that make you a slave?
I think “owner class” is a term used in computer programing.
Maybe that’s how they’re using the term. Like us “right wingers” are all mind-numbed robots.
