This is great stuff. I have always enjoyed listening to Catholic Boy's Choirs when I was growing up. This actually a classical piece of music these boys are singing. When I was a teenager my Mom took me to a concert where a couple of women were singing it. I thought it was just something they put on for the concert that day as a joke. Then my Mom educated me upon the truth about this "classical work of art" as she put it to me very sternly. If I am not mistaking she said it was it is written by the classical composer Gioachino Antonio Rossini, from the 17 or 1800's. I have since left the Catholic church and became an evangelical, but some things die hard. And my fondness for the Catholic Mass Choirs is one of them.

Allow me to add that it's just real difficult to get into the pop Christian music sang at many evangelical churches today when I am getting ready to hear a sermon. Nothing wrong with it mind you, but as I said it is just my upbringing and what I am used to. I am sure God is pleased with whatever music is being sung in His honor.

Very nice. Do you know who wrote the lyrics for this?

I find the “pop” music in the churches to be very inappropriate.

This video is fabulous! Great find. Thanks.

In 1994 I was blessed to be able to hear the Catalunia Catholic Boy's Choir sing Vespers at Montserrat.

It must be the way angels sing!

While in a college choir, we were given some music that
still had a part listed as “Castrato”. There were no
volunteers. Least of all, this baritone.
