Sarah Palin is like Reagan!
2/2/10 | Self

Posted on 02/05/2010 11:02:01 PM PST by factmart

I'm a Palin lover. I remember Ronald Reagan and to me if Reagan was a women he would be like her.

I'm 57 and before I knew that he was a running for president, he was a actor and he was my favorite male actor. When he became president I never got enough of him speaking. I feel they same about Sarah. She is what America means to me. (Same as Reagan) Like Reagan she has common sense.

Like Reagan she is hated but even more because of her pro life stand.

I'm a man but I do not know of a GOP man right now with her guts! But then again her strength comes from the LORD!

If someone else wins for the GOP in 2012 I will support he or she, if they are Conservative but it the will not be the same if it is not President Sarah Palin (AKA:Reagan in women)

She does not come across like an executive.

Her governing record seems to indicate otherwise.

Her quitting before the end of her term with a lame excuse doesn’t speak well of her either.

“I’m a Palin lover. I remember Ronald Reagan and to me if Reagan was a women he would be like her.”

I see that as an insult to one of the all-time greats. She has done nothing yet that warrants her being compared in the least to him. She is very well spoken and has no fear when it comes to taking it to the libs but that doesn’t make her RWR.

Please read a quick biography (say wikipedia not that it’s super but it’s quick) of:

President Reagan (prior to Presidency)
Prime Minister Thatcher (prior to Prime Minister)
Sarah Palin (all)

Please try, please open your mind just a teensy bit that maybe worshiping a person, sweet, slobbery, yummy ummm so good they are so wonderful i’m so happy.,etc.etc. is perhaps less realistic an outlook as... well, let me read the resume and take a fresh look, try to be objective like I was deciding which things to put in my backpack to go on a 25-mile hike with.

You’ll see there is no comparison in her resume.

That is the Dumocrats mistake in selecting Obozo.

For all the Sarah worshipers, please please spread the word, or we will be sourly sourly disappointed if she loses in 2012 or worse wins in 2012 and we don’t have gushing prosperity, the world loving us and free beer for everyone for 4 years, cuz the left will have tons of ammunition if our 2012 candidate is not a get-down-to-business, george patton, brilliant diplomat, economic genuius and moral rock who is somehow able to miraculously get everything they want from both parties of Congress. If we don’t get that 2012 scenario, in 2014 it’s going to be back to communism like we are seeing today, probably even worse, cuz independents and libertarian types will say hey, you guys’ could not deliver. We need a completely new Repub candidate, none that we see now, who actually has a political vision and detailed plan for how to dismantle the Federal “pile” of hindrance on small business while at the same time somehow miraculously getting big business to Not be in bed with the lefties, greenies, commies, and all the other ies. They need to somehow start a momentum of societal shift to morality, to make morality cool and hollywood completely unpopular. I just don’t think she or any other big Repub names can pull that off. She’s definitely got an independent streak, but her McCain support was a weak foray into political strategy. Repubs will rally around a “stonewall” kind of leader. Can’t try to hide anything, but very cooly and bluntly insult whatever lefty insults them. A Repub leader needs to be “lefty-proof”, where they can just ignore SNL and lefty media - never ever even refer to their name, like they were Benedict Arnold, they don’t exist. And their supporters have to create their own media to compete against the likes of SNL and bash them into bankruptcy. Repubs need to take back the media.

They need to be completely beyond reproach, i.e., work for $1 per year, have $0 on their expense account. They have to clean house in their administration so the whole thing is squeaky clean and publicly available on the web. They need to mercilessly go after any and all gov’t corruption, both parties. Somehow they have to have so much public support that they push preposterously large cuts through Congress, i.e., eliminating whole departments and cabinet positions, slashing gov’t size by 20% to 30%.

Because Sarah has been slapped by the left, there’s no way she could have this kind of political clout here.

Repubs need to Deliver with a capital D after the 2010 and 2012 elections. We know we have a shot at getting Repubs elected, but it all comes down to can we deliver, all the conservative media talk we get now is great for the election, but it’s just talk; we need to deliver and we need a person with an immense will and complete humility in order to get the job done.

What do you think the minimum requirements to be the chief executive of the most complex “corporation” ever to exist are?
_________

I hope you do not mean the Republic that is The United States Of America? We are not a “corporation”, we are a Republic of 50 States. Not picking a fight here, just sayin’.

For all the Sarah worshipers

I got that far - no need to read anymore. That 'worship' game is long past - it doesn't hold any water.

You, like the rest of the troll thrashers HAVE NOTHING TO SAY along with having the longest posts!

Sarah is a mighty woman of God and there is NOTHING you or any poster sitting behind their computer endlessly posting trash can do about the favor on her life!! She was born for such a time as this. Little men are just 'little men' - nothing more!

I know of no other governor that has done more good for their state than Sarah Palin and that includes Reagan and my former governor Tommy Thompson(WIS). Even Reagan didn't have to clean up his own party. She did more in a few years than any Governor in 8 Years.

Let someone else list all her accomplishments.

She is a leader like Reagan whether you think so or not!

To ignore her accomplishments is to take a very narrow view of her abilities. I wish she had finished her term, but I understand why she didn’t, both for her family’s sake and for her state’s sake.

I said as a Governor, she did more for her state than Reagan! By the way 40 years from now her state will probably be still GOP country. California has turned "loony left" pretty quick, HEY?

And for the sake of her country.

Reading this (of all sources!) NY Times article it’s hard to think she’s not positioning herself for 2012—and that she doesn’t very well know what she’s doing: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/06/us/politics/06palin.html?hp

What she doesn’t fit your image of a CEO from central casting because she’s not an old white man a la Poppy and Reagan, by the time they were president?

She’s got more than a decade of experience as a CEO in government, by all counts she got a lot actually accomplished in each of her roles, and with her husband she has run small businesses for years. In fact, she has far more executive experience and success than most people who come close to the presidency.
