One of the so called Republicans that Obama invited to the WH is Joseph Cao of Lousiana who happened to be the only Republican to cross the aisle and vote for Obamacare when the vote came up in the House on Nov. 7th, I'm sure that was just a coincidence...

It won’t be a “Big Game” Viewing Party?

Yep, I think it’s got to be a “Big Game” party. The term “Super Bowl” is a registered trademark of the NFL, and they do not grant permission for that term to be used by advertisers or ordinary citizens. That’s way all of the ads you see and hear about snacks and foods talk about an unspecified “big game” in football coming up, and never mention the Super Bowl by name.

So Obama could be violating trademark laws if he hosts a “Super Bowl” party.

Why on earth would anyone go to The White House to watch a Super Bowl Game? Besides, where would you go if you wanted to have a smoke on the property over a 5 hour period? Do they have In’s and Out’s on the property? It’s going to be snowing also, so B. Hussein Obama will actually be ‘stuck there’ for the game. LOLOLOL

Obama's Super Bowl party: Chips, dip and one Republican February 7, 2010 | 6:16 am

Today is Super Bowl XLIV and so President XLIV of the United States is having a few folks over to the White House to eat and drink and maybe watch.

What a numerical coincidence!

And in the spirit of Barack Obama's professed bipartisanship, the Democrat has invited one Republican to join the crowd witnessing Indianapolis win another National Football League championship.

He's Joseph Cao, the first Vietnamese American in Congress. He won last year's special election to fill the vacancy created by the conviction of Democrat Rep. William "Doesn't Everyone Keep $90,000 in the Freezer?" Jefferson.

That congressional district is in, tah dah, New Orleans, which sent a team to the Super Bowl this year, even though it's in Miami.

Cao, like his party of Lincoln in Washington, D.C., these days, will be in a distinct minority at the gathering of 16 Democrats from the House, Senate and Obama's Cabinet. Vice President Joe Biden is not in Delaware this weekend; he went to Colorado instead for no announced public events.

Presumably, they'll be able to get through all the snow that fell on the nation's capitol this weekend (Ticket photo gallery here.)

The White House press office said an unspecified number of unidentified Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families would also attend the television-watching event.
