Obama's Plan To Repeal DADT: Disaster For U.S. Military: Get Involved

On Friday, February 5th a conference call will be held at 11 A.M. Central time. The purpose of the teleconference will be to develop a strategy to head off Barack Obama's plan to allow openly homosexual individuals to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces by repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT). Here is a link to the Military.com Marine Corps' web site for the latest information on this issue: http://www.military.com/NL_WK_d/1,16811,7836,00.html?ad_position=1.

I'm sure many of you who have served in the U.S. military know what is at stake if Mr. Obama has his way. Homosexuals openly serving in the military will certainly impact morale and esprit de corps. There are those who know America's combat readiness will suffer under a repeal of DADT. Some believe this plan is much more insidious and will lead to the ultimate destruction of the greatest and most honored military in history.

As those in the military say, we need boots on the ground. Those who call in, hopefully, will be willing to oppose Obama's plan in some way or form. The time for sharing words and hope-filled platitudes is past. This is a call to action.

Here's how you can join the discussion and get involved in what may be one of the most important projects in our time. Call (724) 444-7444. The pass code is 75351.

You can also listen to the conference on-line by clicking on the following link: http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/75351. There is an opportunity to interact on-line. You can pose questions and suggestions and connect with others in the area or around the nation.

Don’t you just love all the Bill O’s of the world, who’s primary function is to try to convince folks just how “reasonable” they are, by telling us how “harmless” it would be to have gays openly serve?
They choose to ignore the real, day-to-day impact on troop morale, while pretending gays will be discrete and private, after removing the constraint to be so.

I understand when these senior “leaders” claim that homosexuals have served with distinction.

I’m sure some have.
However, the reason they have is because they’ve been forced to suppress their homosexual tendencies and mannerisms.

When you open the doors and let them go “full homo” (to steal from “Tropic Thunder”), will they serve as admirably? Will they still be respected and obeyed?

My experience with effeminate homosexuals in the military says, “No.”

I have nothing against gay people, it’s sad that some people are gay, but let’s not be mad at people just because they have a problem. However to publicly flaunt their perverted inclinations is an other thing, maybe it wouldn’t be comfortable to serve in the same company as a couple of guys who’re always making out with each other, if that is the case then I’m against it. But some times the issue is some one has seen private facebook pictures of gay people and then they can’t serve. That’s wrong, as long as you don’t tell others it shouldn’t be a problem to them, and if they go out of their way to find out about your personal life then it’s their problem if they get grossed by it. I think my opinion is balanced and reasonable, don’t flaunt about your perverted sexual inclinations, because that might disturb some people. At the same time if you’re researching some one’s private information, then it’s your problem if you’re disturbed by it.
