I’m pretty sure he said “color man,” the normal and totally appropriate term for the commentator who is providing background to the play-by-play announcer.
Clark should have said “what does my skin color have to do with it?”

I don’t think I’d want Obama anywhere near my team. He is bad luck, just like at the Olympic bids. Tuesday he called the UK team and they lost. Then shows up for Duke game and they lose.
Perhaps the commentator is unaware of the use of that term in sports? It wouldn’t be hard to make an honest mistake if that’s the case. But yes it was not intended to reference skin color.
He is the best in anything he does.
