Here is video of Steve Hayes on Fox News reacting to President Obama's claim that "I am not an ideologue." Hayes said that was one of the "single most ridiculous thing" Obama said in his appearance before the House Republican Conference. Hayes said the fact Obama believes his Health Care Plan was "centrist" shows how ideological he really is, because no one else - especially the American People - considers it to be "centrist." . . . Of COURSE Hussein is not and ideologue. Neither was Mao, Stalin, Castro, Hitler or any of his heroes! Obama is just a warm, fuzzy POPULIST who knows that he is always right, must be supported by everyone, will not tolerate disagreement with his beliefs and KNOWS that once he is able to rule the little people, all will be well!
That dog and pony show yesterday infuriated me not only about Obama, but the Republicans.
He made a public specticle of ‘taking the GOP to the woodshed’ and they let him!

Expanding support for families balancing work with caring for elderly relatives with a $102.5 million Caregiver Initiative adding $52.5 million in funding to Department of Health and Human Services caregiver support programs that provide temporary respite care, counseling, training, and referrals to critical services. The administration says the extra funding will allow nearly 200,000 additional caregivers to be served and 3 million more hours of respite care to be provided. It also adds $50 million to programs that provide transportation help, adult day care, and in-home services, such as aides to help seniors bathe and cook, help which eases the burden for family members and helps seniors stay in their homes.

His rhetoric is not presidential, it is more Hugo Chavez bulling of the "little people" from the Supreme Court to the citizens of this nation...he doesn't like our attitude...he doesn't like us period...he is not going to quit trying to shove a worthless pile of Health Care caca down our throats because he deems it right. The man is dangerously dictatorial...far from presidential.
Obama is no populist...the MSM and pundits have thrown that word out for lack of cojonies to say what he actually is. Obama is a revolutionary, he doesn't care about the 'folks', he cares about the doctrines of Alinsky, Marx, taught to him by his mentors and his family. Populist is truly a misnomer! Obama's neurosis is far sicker, far more dangerous.
The problem yesterday was the format.
As soon as the Repubs lobbed their questions their mics were cut off. And then Obama could stand up there and spin and lie with no rebuttal - making him appear cool and in control (and making the repubs look foolish). It was anything but a “back and forth.”
Bad move on the Repubs part.
However, this (score for Obama) is a basically a garbage time TD during a one-sided route.
It does not erase the disaster of his presidency. People have already formed a strong (negative) opinion of this man.
And MSNBC can loop this all they want. A.) No one is watching. B.) No one trusts the guy any more.
Denial... “I am not an ideologue...” “You guys act like this was some sort of Bolshevik plot...” He’s trying to deflect the truth by taking it to the ridiculous extreme, then placing those words in his opponent’s mouths.
Good...maybe they'll stop trying to make nice. Follow Reagan's example. You cannot make friends with the left, you must defeat it over and over.
My impression from watching that clip was that of a man who was acting very defensively. You could see the bitterness oozing out of his pores. He was reacting to his frustration and impotence - losing in the polls, losing in Massachusetts, losing Healthcare Reform, losing his halo.
He’s going down and he knows it. He’s trying to make it look like the Republicans are at fault. But for once, they have brilliantly let him do that all by himself. I hope they keep it up.
When I heard Nobama say this my jaw dropped open. He’s the textbook example of a left-wing ideologue.
Obama lives in his own little world and thinks everyone else is wrong,shrinks would have a holiday with him.
