The 60’s battle cry of “Peace, Love, Dope” has changed, and the new battle cry of the liberals is now “Hope, Change, Obama”!
AJM: One of the reasons hes not going to be particularly or even mildly bellicose to the Chinese is that he has to fund all of his trillion dollar spending sprees, he needs them to keep buying the securities.
DH: Well, I think thats the argument made to almost every president. The point is, if you really believe in that argument, and you believe that the red Chinese have an enormous amount of leverage over the United States right now, then by allowing them to continue this drag on the American industrial base you are agreeing to them INCREASING leverage over the United States in the coming decades! Meaning it is going to get much worse, and that China will continue to become an industrial powerhouse, that they will continue to accumulate American assets. And theyll spend a great deal of those assets on a war machine, which they are building right now!
(snip)
So by saying theyve have a hold on us, theyve got us by the shorthairs, theyve got leverage on us, therefore were going to allow them to continue to extract Americas industrial base, and build up theirs while weakening ours is essentially conceding the future to communist China. Thats what Obama is doing. I reject that. I think thats a huge mistake.
BUMP
That’s a good question for our next interview. Hunter is probably the strongest proponent of weaponizing space.
Thanks for checking in Doll. We’ll continue to keep Hunter in the spotlight.
Indeed. Dope and Obama are synonymous.
Unfortunately, Duncan Hunter is a strong proponent of unionization. That puts him on the same side as Obama on way too many issues to make me comfortable.
I never heard that. Do you have a link for Hunter’s backing of unions?
“Unfortunately, Duncan Hunter is a strong proponent of unionization. That puts him on the same side as Obama on way too many issues to make me comfortable.”
Now, there’s a generalization, if I ever heard one. What unions...give us specifics.
Hope he decides to run. He’s a genuine American Hero.
Actually, he isn’t.
He supported Reagan firing the Air traffic controllers. He opposes the dems Card Check BS that gets rid of the secret ballot for unionizing.
He’s rated at 20% by the AFL-CIO, indicating a anti-union voting record.
The NEA hates Hunter’s guts. Here is why:

The US Chamber of Commerce gives him excellent pro-business ratings every year

Still no answer. This driveby slash and burn seems typical of what posters do to real conservatives, ie. Hunter, J.D. Hayworth
Hunter is not despised by private sector unions because he is pro-industrialization, pro-America, pro-defense, pro-manufacturing. He doesn’t give a rip if it is union or non-union, as long as it is American!!
She’s full of crap. Here is the truth. Hunter is not anti-union per se. But he is CERTAINLY pro business.

Guess the East County Chamber of Commerce thinks Hunter is a union stooge too, huh?

Total logic. Hunter is the closest man we have to a Ronald Reagan, and he’s retired.
