Yeah, O’Keefe was pretending to film the workers while he tried to film the staff. Simple as that. The listening device was probably another cell phone.

I said many of these points yesterday and there was one poster who kept saying guilty due to the affidavit I had to point out that in it there was not any mention of wiretapping at all. There were some who were saying he was an idiot.
Why I asked we have no idea if these charges are trumped up or not so why are we not trusting the media.
what happened yesterday was that it seems sadly there are many ion this country and even on here who will go with a media headline and never question.
It was the same when the raid on the LDS church went ahead
We had some screaming child abuse etc and yet not one abuse charge came to court.
I trust and hope that if I ever have to have a jury then I have those who do not go with the media headlines all the time and I'll take those who can question and think for themselves

The affadavit says they stated that they wanted access to the telephone system and to a telephone wiring closet.
If they merely wanted to talk to an office rep and record the conversation by hidden video, they could have pretended to be pizza guys or flower guys.

So, they walked into the Senator’s office and called the office phone to see if it rang? Is that what happened?

"continuous busy signals"Maybe the phone was 'off the hook' thus simulating the 'continuous busy signals.'
Maybe he was there to perform a public service and put it back on the hook and thus into action.

We had some screaming child abuse etc and yet not one abuse charge came to court. Which doesn't mean there wasn't. Which is another point that could be made about this case I guess.

Let’s see....If I’m on my cell phone, standing in an office, and another person, sitting in a car blocks away, is on the other end of that conversation, is he “in possession of a “listening device”?

Didnt OKeefe let these idiots stick their necks out before and then he pulled yet another video out of his hat? It would be sweet if he rope-a-dopes them again.

Here is my question - what was an FBI agent assigned to the Violent Crime Squad doing investigating ‘phone manipulation’?
Unless he manipulated the phone to bludgeon someone to death, how is it “Violent Crime”?
Smells strongly of set-up!

If we are going to accept the word of Mr. Anonymous Leaker, then whatever listening device they had was blocks away. If they were trying to bug the offices, why would the bug be blocks away? It would be in the possession of the three other people inside the offices.
Interesting article, except that the author has a screwy understanding of what a "bug" and a "listening device" are. Typically a bug transmits data wirelessly to a listening device with limited range, like in the cop shows when investigators listen to a bug from a van parked nearby a target. So the opposite of what he's saying above makes sense.

There are 10 indictments, 3 of which have resulted in convictions, for men in the FLDS compound having sex with minors.
That is a form of “child abuse”, although I know what you meant was that there was no OTHER form of “child abuse”, such as physical abuse or pedophilia.

Yep, I heard that today....something about a video he was making having to do with a rally outside her office the day before?
Evidently the protesters were complaining about the phone system being shut down to ignore them.
Remember those silly vids he did in college?

Maybe they took it too far this time.
