Sickening to see how the beltway repubs are supporting KBH. They always band together,,, the repubs really do need a big ol’ enema this year. Good for their health,,,

I’m also puzzled about the endorsements for KBH, and I have a hypothesis.

I don’t like her, and I don’t trust her, and I never have. I don’t like Perry, and I don’t trust him, either. I did at one time — voted for him, and likely will again this spring.

However, he’s crooked. We Texans have watched him sell us out to Cintra, Merck, no telling how many other deep pockets.

This is a race with no good candidates. Shame on us. We could do so much better.

I think the endorsements we’re seeing from Bush 41 and Armey have to do with character. Of the two, sad to say, KBH may be the most honest, and I think they know it.

Whatever your political opinions of the Bushes or Armey, they are straight shooters, people of character. Sure, they’ve made mistakes, but these are fundamentally good human beings who have tried to walk the straight and narrow.

I think they know that Perry isn’t. And that Hutchison is the lesser of the evils.

Again, just my theory.

(Yes, I said I will likely vote for Perry. It has to do with redistricting from the 2010 census, nothing more. I see proper redistricting as absolutely critical. We must elect a Republican legislature and governor. Perry stood firm in 2003, and I think he will do it again for his own political benefit. I trust him more on that one vital issue.)
