AUSTIN, Texas - The Longhorns have scheduled home football games with BYU and UTEP for the 2011 and 2012 seasons, The University of Texas announced Tuesday. UT will host BYU on Sept. 10, 2011 and UTEP on Sept. 8, 2012. The Longhorns also confirmed the Texas-Texas A&M game will remain on Thanksgiving Night for the next two years. Television and kickoff times for the Thanksgiving Day State Farm Lone Star Showdown games with the Aggies have not been set.

Glad the Aggie game stays on Thanksgiving as it should. It’s just not the same when it’s not on Thanksgiving.

BYU is a legit opponent. UTEP is more the homecoming opponent.

Gilbert is a good QB.When that boy came in , it threw everthing off.I’m a Tide fan,I just don’t see beyond the game at hand.You can’t.

Perhaps so, but I can’t get past that 52-30 something bashing they got this year from a 6 loss Florida State.
