1) Forget the teleprompter - what about the speakers?
2) Lighting - look at the flag on the wall on the left and the cord hanging from the ceiling on the right. There are three shadows cast by the flag to the left, right, and center, and one form the cord cast off to the right. These shadows are crisp and almost level with the objects themselves so they are not coming from the ceiling. I am thinking there are 3 lights in front of Teh One to reduce shadows and light the face for TV cameras, etc., whtev.
In a classroom.
2 teleprompters, a podium, 3 speakers, and at least 3 lights.
Weird. This does not add up.
Yes, it's strange. The only thing I can think of is that he was making a formal statement on a national tv hookup, using the classroom as a prop, and that he wanted the teleprompter for that. The chat with the students would have come after that.
Still a strange way to stage such an event.
