Thank God for Sarah Palin. She is without a doubt the leader of the growing conservative movement. It certainly is not Pawlenty, Huckabee, Romney or Newt. Although I would support whomever gets the GOP nomination, we should primarily back the candidate that has both superior executive experience (running a government) and the ability to excite & rally a large number of supporters.
If you agree or not Sarah Palin is the top of the list. Of those with actual governing experience, Romney, Huckabee, Palin, Giuliani, Perry and Pawlenty, only one that can easily fill a stadium. Romeny certainly has great business experience but his time as MA governor is not impressive. Giuliani, Perry and Pawlenty have all done a great job for their states but cannot excite & rallying large numbers like Sarah Palin. etc......

Actually, the Purity Police of all stripes, should be discouraged on this site.
We need to avoid a blind following of Palin, similar to how the left blindly followed Obama.
I support Palin, but it has been embarrassing how some have tried to explain her campaigning for John McCain. Palin said she would campaign for conservative candidates. McCain is not conservative, and she knows that.
Palin showed more loyalty to John McCain than she does for her base and the policies they support, and that is disturbing.
Amen, sister...AMEN.
Are you referring to Palin-purity or conservative-purity?
“of all stripes” ...
Love Sarah, but would she campgain for that old, nasty, entrenched guy who left his dying wife? Would she support him against JD HAYWORTH...?
Very scary..! I am bewildered.
Why would someone so wonderful support such a BORING LOOSER..?
Hear, hear.
My concern is that McCain is using her to bring in the crowds; crowds that are not there to see or hear him. Crowds that will not even vote for him.
Loyalty is a great characteristic .. but it bothers me that her treatment by McCain’s staff was never questioned by McCain. The only comment I heard was that some staff members get a little carried away. I’m not buying that!
Actually Palin showed class which is unfamiliar to a [thankfully] a small minority of her base
Loyalty to a treacherous, back-stabbing, two-faced, self-serving, pro-amnesty, anti-free speech, faux conservative McCain, is no virtue!
Arizona is getting rid of this bum, and if Sarah wants to follow him off the cliff, so be it. My loyalty is to our country, convervatism, and our constitution.
If that makes me a fool, I bear it proudly.
"Country First" - a mere slogan not meant to be actually adhered to.
see post 11....his response works for me.
see post 13~~~
John McCain did not pluck Sarah out of subarctic obscurity as a favor to her or because he had any affection for her. He did it only because he thought it would benefit himself. She owes him nothing. Her rise is a result of who she is. There is nothing gracious or classy about supporting the evil that is McCain. There is nothing gracious or classy about contributing to the destruction of our republic, our future, our way of life.
Loyalty in politics should be to principles and country and not to personalities. Supporting McCain is supporting amnesty and all the rest of what he is. Going rogue, indeed.
She’s a lovely lady but she is simply unelectable. Fortunately, McDonnell is giving the GOP response instead.
It’s not about “her”.
It’s about advancing conservative principles, and campaigning for McCain doesn’t do it.
His response doesn’t work if it keeps John McCain in office.
Arizona is not going to be a stepping stone for Sarah!
We’re dumping McCain and electing JD Hayworth.
No kidding
