You know, we laugh about Gibbs saying something this obviously stupid and desperate, but let’s be honest: there are a lot of these holier-than-thou idiots here on FR who are saying essentially the same thing.
And just as easy to spot, and just as wrong, and entertaining.
He’s auditioning for a post admistration job on MSNBC or as a late nite standup postion.
Well I’ll give this administration one thing: they are flawlessly consistent.
This explanation from Gibbs is akin to their policy of “the best cure for too much debt and spending is more debt and spending”.
Obama & Co. are religious zealots. Their religion is Socialism, and they are their own infallible God. To my ear, listening to devoted Progressive speak is indistinguishable from a zealous devotee of any other religion - their absolute faith trumps questioning, logic or cold fact.
If the WH assigned a robot or a chimp in Gibbs’ place- the press wouldn’t notice the difference...

I do wonder sometimes whether he really believes this sh*t or not.
I saw the poll. Clearly there were Obama voters. Also clear is that there were more Brown voters.
The agenda drove the poll and we don’t know the internals.
Given that it was the Washington Post, we have a pretty good idea of how they arrived at the results.
