When I convinced FrogDad that we needed to stock up (didn’t take much convincing), he gave me all of our disposable income for three months and using the calculator, I put back a year’s worth for six people.
Lots of buckets and re-sealed bags and one of our spare bedrooms. We grind wheat and eat the best honey-wheat bread you can imagine. We dehydrate veggies and can meat.
Has brought us closer together and SERIOUSLY cut our food budget.
