Ya know? I lived in SoCal for 10 years and headed to LA once.

I got to Long Beach and said eff this.
Turned around and went back to San Diego

Matter of fact, I enjoyed my stay in the Sacramento area and also occasional trips to LA. Lovely city, really, if you can afford it.

But there is a fatigue one develops, from the endless cultural battle, isolation that “diversity” brings, price inflation, all that.

I love Kansas.
