If Sarah Palin was asked by McCain to campaign for him and she turned him down, the MSM and all libs would have a field day.....blasting both McCain and Sarah. They would love that.
When campaigning (hopefully limited) she can choose to only talk about his positions that she herself endorses, and leave out the horse crap things like, “hands across the aisle”, “amnesty”, “campaign finance reform”.
We care about their opinions, why?
If McCain loses the primary, the media will run stories of a split between conservatives and Sarah. So this is lose-really lose option for Sarah here.
Anywho, her reply if McCain had asked her to campaign for him would be "...After the primary is held, I will stump for you John."
When campaigning (hopefully limited) she can choose to only talk about his positions that she herself endorses, and leave out the horse crap things like, hands across the aisle, amnesty, campaign finance reform.
Well we should see. If she starts taking shots at Hayworth then she jumped the salmon.
You're misinterpreting me - you stated that "MSM and all libs would have a field day...blasting McCain and Sarah" (Post #161) had she not endorsed him.
I'm saying who cares what they think because they're going to do it anyway. But at least Palin would still have the grassroots at her back. Now that she supports McCain, you're going to see positive articles about how wonderful Palin is appealing to the "center" or how "moderate" she is. Positive in the sense of smiling at her while the knife is twisting in her back. The media will isolate Palin from conservatives.
