I am posting this story to: 1) Ask Our Heavenly Father to protect and be with this young man who has been held captive in Afghanistan for over 5 months now and be with his family. God grant them strength and endurance. 2) Ask Freepers what we can do to help move our government to a speedier solution in being him home.

I mean no disrespect to any one involved in this manner. As a mother, my heart breaks for his family. This young man is one of OUR brave military men serving his country and that makes him a part of each of our families. Please list your prayers and thoughts about what I can, you can and we can do.

It's interesting that the Americans, being held by Iranians are getting so little coverage in the press. The Iranians are still holding the three college students from Berkeley, as well. An article in the WSJ mentioned that the Iranians have been attempting to make those three, the centerpiece of all negotiations with the US.

By the way, the three college students are Jewish, of Iraqi Jewish decent.
