After listening to him over the past few days, I figured he was more like McCain. Welp, at least we’re heading in the right direction.
I don’t know if I’d compare him to McCain yet. McCain isn’t a conventional squish. He’s squishy on certain things and not on others, but he’s firmly convicted in either case.
McCain is also vindictive and can be quite a nasty person.
Maybe Brown is comparable to a Coleman. Coleman was (more vocally than Brown) pro-choice, but friendlier to conservatives on fiscal matters and took on the UN. Most of all, when he differed with conservatives, he didn’t give us the middle finger.
