Not to worry. If Brown wins, or even comes within 5 percentage points, the Dems will be so shell-shocked that health care is probably done for anyway.
Have top Democrats realized that Coakley can’t win no matter what she does, and their method of “campaigning” is to be as pathetic as possible, so as to control the spin after her loss?
Republican Pundit: What the Coakley loss proves is that the American People don’t want Obamacare, or anything that Obama is trying to pass. Democrats are in real trouble in November unless they stop voting for things that Americans do not want.
Democrat Pundit: Certainly not. Why would you say that? Americans love Obama. The reason why Coakley lost is that she ran a terrible campaign and was a poor candidate. Her aide was caught on video assaulting a reporter. She said during a debate that the terrorists have gone from Afghanistan. She mocked Brown for shaking the hands of sports fans. She spelled Massachusetts wrong in her TV ad. And all of those things were in the last 2 weeks before the election. So, no, Americans love Obama, and Democrats can continue to vote for Obama’s legislation, and they’ll have no trouble winning in November provided they don’t attack reporters, say extremely stupid things during a debate, mock their opponent for campaigning with the voters, or spell the name of their state wrong in their ads.
