My personal opinion is that it was a very good start for her, but she needs to get away from her campaign mode in these pieces and be more blunt in sharing exactly what she thinks with her growing audience. Just my .02 worth...

Contrary to some posters here and on other threads, I felt that Bill made it clear that he was giving Sarah an opportunity to respond to her critics and that he was doing so by referring to things they had said about her. She knew in advance that he was going to do that and was very poised in her replies. She did great!
Bill disagreed with Sarah’s comment about 60 Minutes and said he thought the program was credible (hah!), but that’s about the only time I got upset with him during the set.
“I’m no BOR fan, but to be fair to him, I think he was trying to help her bury Schmidt, Heilemann, and Halperin up front, as well as debunk all of the other silly lies that have been hurled at her.”
Liked your response very much. Sarah did a good job of debunking the untruths of the book by these two A-holes. By saying that neither of these two interviewed her for their book nor were privy to these so-called statements by Sarah, she as much as labeled these two jURINALISTS as fiction writers. What Bill O’ should have interjected into the conversation is, “You Gov. Palin have written a best seller, and your critics have just come out with a book critical of you. Let us just see how well they do in sales compared to your success.” Let the people speak.
Gov. Palin being on Fox is another triumph for Rupert Murdock.

I joined FR and gave a contribution just so I could add how much I loathe BOR when he compliments himself. Sarah was so gracious to say that BOR was BMOC, but he couldn’t just say “Thank you ...” He had to make her state his name by asking “and who is that?” forcing her to repeat his name. I think she realized what he was doing and felt uncomfortable.
Of course that didn’t stop BORe from patting himself on the back in the next Crowley/colmes segment.
