Very nice job. Thanks for posting it, as I was at the gym earlier and this saves me from having to watch the rerun of the O’Bloviator.

Toward the end, I think BOR was trying to get her to “show how smart you are” and Sarah wasn’t taking the bait because I think she’d rather build her own base her own way, not by rattling off facts to refute what some political hack spews out. Now she’s got an international podium to communicate her views to millions.

No more interviews about the 2008 campaign, Schmidt, the ankle-biters, Levi Johnston, her family etc. I truly hope in the future, Palin will simply not comment on these as she already did per her book tour and interviews. But this was a great start for her except when Bill tried to goad her into calling Pelosi a kook.

I liked the way she handled BOR, too.

We could tell she was visibly nervous--as rightly she should be--people that care about their performance ARE nervous, but it's how quickly they come out of it to feel comfort and confidence with words delivered more easily and more succinctly, that matters and she passed that with flying colors!

I feel like this is EXCELLENT practice for Sarah. Not that she needs it to do the job, it's just that the more and more exposure she gets, the higher the level of that which can shake her resolve. What is going on will further desensitize her to ANYthing that can possibly be thrown at her, in her handling of either off camera distractions or on-camera (issue-oriented or snarky) questions, with more and more ease. She can already handle so much, and this will only put her at a higher level--a more and more Presidential level of "stuff" that COULD happen. Also, she'll have nothing to lose. If she does great and people start to see the vastness of her talents and smarts--GREAT, and she goes on to be even MORE Presidential in the minds of Americans. If she does poorly or makes an inexcusable gaff (if only to the Dems) that puts a question in Americans' minds then...no harm, no foul...she's not a candidate.

I think this is SOOOOO smart on her part. Sarah CONTINUES to impress me and those I hang with.
