Herseth Sandlins standing

The Democratic brand in South Dakota is not very strong right now, and that has Stephanie Herseth Sandlin looking at her toughest fight for reelection since 2004 next year despite the fact that she herself is pretty popular.

52% of voters in the state disapprove of Barack Obama's job performance with just 41% approving. That makes him downright popular compared to Congressional Democrats who get a 60% disapproval rating with only 28% of South Dakotans giving them high marks. And when it comes to the Democratic health care bill that passed the House last month, which Herseth Sandlin prudently voted against, only 25% of voters are supportive with 59% opposed.

This should be a high priority to win. she is a very bright incumbent whith what should be a long future. the seat is atlarge and when Johnsons seat opens she could easiy move up. Winning here should be a high priority.

The Pubbies are fielding two very good candidates in this race, too. Current Secretary of State Chris Nelson, and Dr. Blake Curd. I heard Dr. Curd speak at our last 912 project meeting, and he’s the real deal.

I like Dr. Curd. I knew nothing of a SD 912 project?

Look man-she’s hot. Nobody cares how intelligent she is. The gop nominated stiffs to go up against her. In one debate she wore a bright red dress, bright white pearl necklace, and talked with her hands-nobody listened to what she had to say because they were looking at her pretty face. She’s NOT intelligent. You have to remember that Gov Janklow gave her the seat when he killed somebody. Next you send in the stiffs(along with the Libertarian candidate)to the debate and she just walks in. She will end up in the senate just like you predict.

I am not from there but maybe that will just wear off and so will she. At least I hope so.
