Thank you for all your responses. I have read them carefully.

You state: “I’m familiar enough with Zeigler to know that he doesn’t fall into that category. “

It seems (to me) that if you are familiar with (and like) an author, then their typos are due to ‘unknown reasons’.

If you are not familiar with, or don’t like a particular author, then their typos are due to ‘arrogance’.

Is that not correct?

One other thing ... you responded to my posts, but didn't answer my questions; instead, you snarked on a typo in one of them. What caused the the typos in the two examples I gave you?

You don't know, do you? It's because you're not qualified, dear, no more than I am qualified to advise your son in aerial reconnoissance (kudos to YOU and to HIM, by the way! You have every right to be proud of him! And I"m grateful that you used God's blessings to raise up such a good kid -- parents of such kids deserve almost as much credit as the kids, IMO).
