I would say that, while it is
likely true that his alley has been used for receiving objects de' force, like a bowling alley, somehow I see him more as the runway type, as in
sa-shaying down the runway, than I do as a Big Lebowski Dude, hangin with his buds, throwing balls and drinking beer.
So while one could say it is right up his alley, I think "right up his runway" is probably more accurate ;-)
