I am not so sure we can trust any Republicans. Wasn't '94 called a "Great Conservative Uprising" and yet what we got was just a slower more stealth drift to the left.

Bush and the Republicans created a whole new government agency, Homeland Security, that we did not need, could not afford and will never be rid of. Was there not homeland security before we gave more control and money to the feds? The Republicans happily traded freedom for supposed security.

Then there is the bailouts...

I guess my point is does it matter whether someone is a RINO or the real deal because when the Republicans are in power, it does not seem to make a whole hell of a lot of difference.

We need to start a new group—Reform Republicans (or as Jon Paul calls it Liberty Republicans) who will vow to embrace Ronald Reagan’s ideas and Conservative values. This group can then start to purge out the RINOs and their running dogs. They days of the “Lets Get along Party” are done. They have corrupted themselves on easy money. We must seek reforms. We can’t let the DNC pick our candidates anymore—no Open Primaries—no easy to corrupt caucuses! CHANGE THINGS BACK.

How? Wasn't Bush's prescription drug bill just a mini version of Obamacare? How were we more secure under Bush than we were under Clinton?

Seems to me that the Republicans only talk a good game. They may move slower to the left but if you take an objective look, the Republicans are still moving this country towards bigger government, away from free market principles and ignoring the constitution.
