Its a wonder BCS teams ever play any games at all. Just have the BCS pick the national champs before the season based on strength of schedule. It would save a lot of time and injuries, wouldn’t it? If any BCS teams had an ounce of courage or sportsmanship in them, they would eagerly accept the challenge to prove their “superiority” on the field in a national championship playoff instead of hiding behind formulas and computers.
The tournament system wouldn’t produce a much different result. This way at least more teams get more exposure and the kids get a chance to enjoy themselves.
