Warren and Saddleback can't hit bottom fast enough for me. Why doesn't Warren, the multimillionaire, give some of HIS money? He is worse than the government. He, just like all the millionaire “ministers,” are always calling for OTHERS to give. Mr. Rick, you first.

I am NOT a fan of Warren, however, Warren and his wife tithe 90% of all their incomes to the church...they didn’t always, they started out giving 10% and eventually went to 90%.

You will not find any of the “TV” preachers who do so.

Not a follower of Warren (and as a SBC Preacher...his moderate approach irritates me immensely) ...but Rick Warren "reverse tithes"...which means he gives 90% of his income back to the church...keeping 10% for himself. He does this on his salary and the income he makes from books...tapes...etc.

So...at least he isn't being a hypocrite. He's only asking others to do a little of what he does already.

I’m no big fan of Warren, but he has done just as you ask. Basically most of the money from his books he has given back to the chuch and has taken no salary for severla years. I’m not defending his current issue, just saying.
