The question, to me, is why he didn’t simply detonate his bomb on board the plane. Either he lost his nerve, or this was some kind of test run. Considering that others have claimed that there was a third person filming, that suggests some kind of weird dry run.

I don’t get the constant reference to an Indian.

Supposedly an Indian escorted the would be killer thru security.

How is it proven that the two men were Indian?

In the interview that I saw on Fox News, the passenger used the term “middle eastern” to describe the passenger who was led away in handcuffs. He also stated that the other passengers were led away from the luggage area because of “safety concerns.”

I find it odd that no one else is talking about this - not other passengers, not airline officials and no government officials. I wonder how accurate this passenger’s comments are. I’m not saying he is being untruthful, but at first glance he does not pass the sniff test.

After the first guy was apprehended I'm sure the rest were told to sit down and stay there. Blankets and pillows were collected and the plane secured. This is SOP with most airlines when there is any kind of problem.
Dogs. I'm retired military. My job in the military, MOS, was a dog handler. I have handled and trained every kind of dog that uncle sam has in his inventory. I have been on the other end of a leash of many bomb, ordnance, dogs. There in no mechanical or electronic device on this earth that has the efficiency of a good dog in detecting explosives. Every major airport in the world should have a hundred dogs and 50 handlers on the pay role. I was listening to the news a few minutes ago and the idiot commentator said that the dogs would not work because they would offend some people. What a moron. The dogs can detect explosives no matter where they hide them. Are we so afraid of offending muslims that we are willing to sacrifice the lives of Americans??? That is total and complete BS!!!!! Get the bomb dogs and make every passenger and air crew member submit to a K-9 walk by. It will stop this kind of bombing. One last thing. I could care less who is offended when we are keeping our aircraft safe. If they don't want to be cleared by the dog then they don't fly. No person or no item should be placed on the aircraft until the dog says it is OK.
