I think this is only 1/2 of it. I read that he rented the two adjacent homes for friends and family. Including the costs of housing the secret service and staff, we could be looking at $20K + per night, just for accomodations (not including transportation, food, etc.).
All this while he could stay in DC for nothing, or at least fly to his beloved Chicago to spend the Holidays.
no way does his salary afford such a rental...I want to know where the $$$ is coming from specifically....
