I highly doubt any thug tactics need to be used at all. The Democrats have wanted to socialize health care since before World War 2.

I am not surprised. All governments work by fear and intimidation. They do not wield the sword for nothing. Politics is based upon butt. You either kick it, or you kiss it. There is nothing noble about politics or politicians. It is and always will be dirty and mean. It has to be by its very nature. The government fails to function properly whenever those elected believe that they can be nice and cooperating with their opponents. Government works best when people see the other side as their enemy and do everything in their power to destroy them. I know how horrible this sounds, but it is the nature of politics.
