May I venture a guess that you're a big fan of Don Martin (as I am)?
I remember a panel with two guys walking down a city street where they find that Joe Fonebone had been run over by a steam roller. They pick him up and fold him and then meet a guy rounding the corner with a sweatshirt labeled "Near-Sighted Strong Men's Club" who pictures the folded-up Joe as a telephone book to rip apart...which he does.
To me, that was one of the all-time funniest Don Martin cartoons.
