MATT 24:9 SAYS THAT WE WOULD BE OBJECTS OF HATRED ON ACCOUNT OF HIS NAME. WHAT OTHER RELIGION IS HATED ON ACCOUNT OF HIS NAME? ONLY 1 THAT I CAN THINK OF THE WITNESSES PROUDLY GLORIFY JEHOVAHS NAME.

Anne - there are Christians in China being beaten and jailed. Same in India and in muslem countries. It pays to expand your knowledge base before making such claims.

I pray for the JW’s as they are so mislead, they do not believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, and if they keep denying Him they will not be making it to Heaven. Their movement IS a cult. They believe the 144,000 mentioned in the Bible are the ONLY people going to Heaven and that they have to be members of their watchtower thing. The 144,000 is the 12 tribes of Israel, 12,000 from each trible, THEY ARE JEWS! NOT JW’s. I will pray for this poster and we all should. There is only ONE way to heaven and that is through JESUS CHRIST, the Bible couldn’t be more clear-—wake up JW’s!

"Christian" means a follower of Christ. In what way do Jehovah's Witnesses not follow Christ?

Where does the Bible explicitly or implicitly say that Jesus is God?
"The Father is greater than I am"
Many scriptures saying that Christ was "sent". That shows that there was one who did the sending. They cannot be co-equal if that is the case.
And then there is the whole point of Jesus being the only begotten, which means his being created instead of co-eternal.

And where does it teach that the soul is eternal?
God told Adam that if he sinned he would die.
If there is a burning hell and the soul will burn there forever, than God is a liar by not telling Adam what the consequences of his sin would be. Those are the two major sticking points here, Jesus being part of a Trinity, and the immortal soul?
