Congress Wishes You A Very Commie Christmas
Fightin Words ^ | December 21, 2009 | Walter Scott Hudson

Coming out of the weekend, it is increasingly clear the Senate will pass socialized medicine with the first vote likely before Christmas. The Minneapolis Star Tribune touts a Congressional Budget Office estimate which suggests spending hundreds of billions of dollars will somehow cut $132 billion from the deficit, a concept plainly nonsensical. We take a look at how the CBO came up with that number, and why its bogus. Then we evoke the oft-neglected concept of posterity, how it dominated the thoughts of our Founding Fathers, and how seemingly no one pays it any mind today. Lastly, we sample an upcoming "sunglass wearer's" review of James Cameron's Avatar.

We must all remember that the politicians in D.C. now are the same ones that were marching on D.C. back in the 60’s protesting the war and in some cases using force to show their position. I am a proud Viet Nam vet who came home in October of 68. I had mixed emotions about what our government was doing and met with vet groups at CCNY where I had enrolled. I began to sway toward the ‘’liberal’’ view points till I witnessed the great unwashed(those who hadn't served or found a way not to) chaining themselves to administration doors or walking out of classes and disrupting the flow of life in Manhattan. Across the nation the ‘’movement’’ became more and more radical with the leaders becoming more and more recognized. Here we are 40 years later and those renowned leaders of the’’movement’’ are now leading our country.
The conservative theme in the 60’s was ‘’America, love it or leave it’’. The response to this phrase was ‘’ America...love it or CHANGE it’’. Seems like they are winning that philosophy.

I said it before but it can never be repeated too much... :-) And this pertains to the evil one-world government that we see forming before our eyes, right in the present. It's the Messiah of Israel who has said He will take care of it.

I'm looking forward to the coming Kingdom on earth and the one-world government that the Messiah of Israel will be setting up, after He destroys, by His own hand, the present and evil one-world government that we see forming right now.

    Isaiah 9:6-7

For unto us a Child is born.
    Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
    Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of His government and peace
    There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

There is a red star on the Christmas Tree, a hammer for you and a sickle for me.
