if the Illinois GOP “leadership” had been able to live with Peter Fitzgerald. There was no way that was going to happen. Sen. Fitzgerald appointed US Attorney Fitzgerald who has been happilly tossing corrupt pols of both parties in the Federal prison.
They wanted a lapdog. Senator Fitzgerald gave them a Rottweiler as a lovely parting gift.
