Id like to thank Eugene Robinson for highlighting Alaskas achievements on climate change [Palins own Climate- gate, op-ed, Dec. 15] and for noting that Ive treated the issue as serious, complex, and worthy of urgent attention, while making any number of pragmatic, reasonable, smart decisions as governor. But hes wrong to suggest that my views have somehow changed or that now Ill have to renounce my past efforts.
Once again: I dont deny that climate change is real. In creating a sub-cabinet to deal specifically with the issue, I said that Alaskas climate change strategy must be built on sound science and the best available facts and must recognize Alaskas interest in economic growth and the development of its resources. That goal made sense to me then, and it makes sense to me now.

It seems no matter what Palin does, she will get criticized.
I like how Sarah immediately corrects these liberals and does not allow their lies to stand ala bush43.
Deniergate: Turning the tables on climate sceptics ( Really?)
Yep, one of Bush's biggest faults.
Indeed - check out the vid skit (link below) made by the good folks at C4P. Hilarious.

Sarah/DeMint 2012
Bolton - Secy of State
Jim DeMint looks very good - do you think he’d accept being second sled dog though (to use Sarah parlance)?
In addition, Sarah needs someone from the Senate/House that knows how things work to better clean out the socialist crap in our govt.
I'm very impressed someone from the UK is so aware of Sarah - kudos to you!
A few weeks ago, a host of a BBC program (Claudia Bradshaw) contacted me to contribute to her program. Unfortunately, we couldn't connect timely so I missed the opportunity to share the exceptionalism of Sarah.
I think Demint is going to run in 2012. However, if he loses to Sarah Palin, he'd make a great VP candidate. I am more and more impressed by Demint.
I like DeMint, too but no executive experience and no charisma which, unfortunately, is required and Sarah has both in spades. Sarah can “set the table for him” for 2020.
Tks Newfreep. Have been following Sarah’s progress since Aug last year. She is one of the most gifted politicians I have seen and can become a great President. She has that rare thing for a politican - an ability to communicate in a genuine way with ordinary folks, and she generates passion in her supporters. The UK media still isn’t over its love affair with all things BO but I sense some of the major newpapers may be reviewing their earlier hostility. I do what I can in a samll way to (re)educate friends and work colleagues about her exceptionalism. It’s often a soul destroying activity but I remain optimistic she will prevail.
