That election year was a blast for politics, and I joined in the celebration of the Republican victory December 2004. Little did I know that my December 2004 was like lib's December 2008, or republicans 1994, the start of the headaches
My complaint is the Peter Schiff one, we (those real conservatives like talk radio )didn't even oppose any of his policies till he was safely re-elected.
While the specific details were hard to predict, the end result was easily predictable looking back at political history.
Early Spring this year almost everyone (liberals, conservatives) predicted Obama would easily pass anything he wanted based on popularity as well as sheer numbers.
Think of the financial housing bubble, so many got rich, everyone saying to 'buy, buy, buy, you are missing out on the big money'. You know what Jim Roger's response is to that? That is exactly the time to sell, sell when everyone says you must buy.(of course the timing can be tricky there LOL, he just predicted a short term rise in the dollar.)

The problem is that Obama has done a GREAT deal of damage already. He is bankrupting the country, and has destroyed(at least temporarily) 60 years of international goodwill. I still say we cannot take 3 more years of this man. He is a psychopath. How he got there means nothing to me. He has got to go.

Obama is not the biggest problem, he is just the big target being president, as Bush was. The biggest problem is the democrat congress and they would be there even if McCain won. The destruction, damage and bankruptcy started before Obama, they/he just expanded it.
Right now the most popular theme here (after stopping Obama) is ‘getting rid of Obama’. Why ? To stop him! But can any Republican President run and re-run on the sole theme of “I oppose Obama” ??
I really dont buy the “It doesnt matter because Obama is so bad” argument aka the “McCain or Die” argument. I really do think it matters.
He is a major symptom of the disease liberalism as are all the others who join with him. I agree they have to be defeated at mid term as a start to stop the spread of the disease.
