Lessee, $300,000,000 to Mary Landrieu to buy her vote to open debate, now more extortion (or Bribes) to get another senator’s vote.
Somehow, I don’t think that the Founder’s intended this to be the way that the Congress was supposed to run.
How much more of this “Chicago-style” corrupt political thuggery are we willing to tolerate before enough is enough???
Nebraska splits its 5 electoral votes (iirc Maine does also). Obama got 1 of them last year. He doesn’t have much to lose.
This needs a BIG bump, this is going to be the shot heard around the globe I think, this is truly treasonous that a sitting President of the United States of America is blackmailing the military and our national security in efforts for him to iniate his Marxist socialistic society.
THIS has be gravely concerned.

Not a single person here thinks O loves anything about America, except perhaps some misguided Libs who come here for fun.
I wouldn't be surprised if Obama is serious about his threat, but I think Nelson will end up voting for the healthcare bill. I seriously doubt any Democrat will not vote for cloture, and then all they need is 51 votes and the dem leadership can see to it that some of their crew will have cover for the final vote, as necessary.
A Democrat is a Democrat, and the so-called blue dogs will join their party when the time comes. Perhaps what they are looking for is threatening to not vote for cloture as leverage to get pork barrel spending authorized in their home areas.
