Mary Noonan of the University of Iowa is still concerned about the acceptance of the importance of a woman's career.
"People still buy into the stereotypes of what it means to be a good wife. It means that caring for your children and supporting your husband's career is viewed as a wife's main priority," she said.
Ms Noonan should have a discussion with the folks at the Daily Kos, as the progressives in the number one liberal website are suggesting that Hadassah Lieberman should be removed from her job because of the political actions of her husband.
Yesterday Joe Lieberman drew his own line in the sand on healthcare--it's my way or the highway. Joe Lieberman plans on killing healthcare reform.
Lieberman's wife Hadassah Lieberman, now fasten your seatbelt here, is the global ambassador for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It's grotesque, unseemly and sadly "uniquely American", that the wife of the man who is working overtime to kill healthcare, is an "ambassador" for the Komen Foundation.
