GOP lawmakers can eat crap. They are part of the problem and if they aren’t conservative they need to GET THE F OUT OF THE PARTY.

Have fun organizing your third party. All fifty states have there own set of rules, regulations, and laws that third parties must satisfy before gaining ballot access.
This will require a massive ammount of resources, time, and effort.

Suggest you give George Soros a call. I’m sure he’d be delighted to fund your efforts. What better an insurance policy could you possibly find to guarantee BHO’s relection?

Right now it appears we have a bunch of cowering crybabies in Washington, D.C.! May GOD Continue HIS BLESSINGS of Sarah, Glenn, Rush, Ann, Sean and all the Other Brave Hearts who are standing up for America as Steele, Mc Connell, Mc Pain, Gramnesty and the others cower in their buckets of Tears!! Get Up and FIGHT!! Cut out this morbid desire for Mediocrity!! McPAIN gave the RATS the POTUS Office on a 24 KT GOLD PLATTER and hence is a Key Contributor to the Demise of Our AMERICA!!May GOD BLESS and SAVE US and OUR AMERICA!!

You have much wisdom ... but also a ‘special’ way in which you express it.

Why would you believe this? There’s not a single quoted source and the “poll” is from the friggin’ National Journal. The Democrats are spending lots of stimulus money to try and strip the Tea Party people from the Republican party. Don’t automatically march in the direction they point.

The Threat of a third party is political leverage that if used properly can move the GOP mountains. Used poorly it can quickly backfire.

We must be careful, but we should hold the RINOs feet to the fire first.

I wouldn't get mixed up with a futile effort, that's why I would back a conservative party with leadership. If she does a third party, she'll sink the repubs and place them in minority position within a year.

Most of the complaints people have about a third party are far outweighed by the failure of the republicn party to try to serve 2 factions. Won't work.

Clearly, the GOP doesn't get it. This is why I am not at all hopeful that they can at least take back the House in 2010. They will run too timid a campaign.

Come on, you have to be smarter than that. Don’t you ever question anything or do you accept as fact every unsourced article, using a left-wing “poll”? This article is OBVIOUSLY part of the campaign to piss off Tea Party people and turn them against the Republican party.

Exactly and precisely. That’s the Left’s game plane. Divide us up.

Simple truth is this: We are united like I have never seen before. Proof: Republican senators and congressmen voted OVERWHELMINGLY against Obamcare, against the Porkulous, against Cap and Tax. Why should we allow a TINY minority like Snowe and Collins ruin our Party? There are ALWAYS a few bad apples in any major organization or institution. I am glade Specter left the Party. It was the best decision he ever made IMHO.

Looking at our recent smashing victories in NJ and VA we are poised for a major comeback. The generic polls now show the GOP handily defeating the Democrats for congress.

There is nothing perfect in life, least of all politics. But there is hope of taking back Congress if we all work together and stop the idiotic infighting.

“Shut up,” they explained. This is why the RNCC gets nada from me. In some ways, RINOs’re worse traitors than the Dems.

Arrogant country club Lord Haw-haw elitist bastards.

Rush, Hanity are stooges of the GOP. This is why we may well be forced to mount a 3rd—Conservative-— Party. How long will it take before Republicans wake up to the fact that the GOP has been undermined and corrupted by Washington lobbiests and RINOs. As a great Republican, Abe Lincoln once siad: “The War is thrust upon us.” We may well have no choice in this question. How long must we put up with the Doles, the McCains, The RINOs before we say No More! One of two things must happen: A) The GOP reforms from within—re-embrace Reagan and Conservatism or.. B) face an invigorated, well run, national 3rd Party. The RNC must chose one.

There have been a flood of these articles that claim the “Republican leadership” is trying to shut up Palin and the Tea Party people. They never contain a single name or actual quote and the threads quickly fill up with 3rd Party whack-jobs. Aaarrrggghhh!!!!

I really believe the current GOP wants the demonrats to do all they are doing. I think they like it. Just so they can be the ones running the tyranny. Most of these fools need to be railroaded right out of there.

You are not going to believe this. Your response made me think of the starfish story ("I just saved that one"). I did a quick google search for it and here's the site that came up: To Save Just One: debwebonline.com.

We need to push conservative candidates in the GOP. This has to be a two part process. Get control of house and senate to stop them from ramming amnesty, ammo control and a dozen more lib programs down our throats. In others words we stop the bleeding before fixing the wound. That may mean a few RINOs stay in office. We purge the ones we can in 2010 the rest in 2012 and 2014. If we have not learned it yet, elections have consequences. Third party will split the vote and it is unlikely to attract certain demographics. We need articulate conservatives capable of raising millions. In Illinois you have true conservatives who lack the political skills and/or money to win state wide. Kirk can win and help break the 60 vote super majority. Split the vote because he is a moderate and we could have Durbin running the senate with a 60 vote majority.
