Great comment. It is so ironic that the biggest defenders of the PC line “Islam is a peaceful religion” are the left-wingers in America who would be the most persecuted under Islamic Law!

I have an aunt that was in college in the 60’s and was very Liberal. Naturally, she is now conservative. She once told me that in her day, liberals were mostly very intelligent (albeit idealist) people, while today they are mostly the uneducated and the ignorant. I find the point valid.
