Let me preface this by saying I am your biggest fan and I have nothing but respect for you. Despite your recent misadventures, I respect the way you conduct yourself as a Sportsman, on and off the field and I look to you as a hero, even though you are about twenty years younger than me. Yes I play, but you have more knowledge of the game & sport of Golf in your little finger than I do in my entire body...

My Definition of a hero is vastly different than yours.

Sports stars aren't "heroes", they are sports stars. Members of the Military and others who display great courage in order to save other people's lives and freedoms, those people are heroes. A politician who stands up for what is right, regardless of the cost to him/her is a hero, a Marine, Airman, Soldier or Sailor who fights(even if it is only as a support group)for others, they are heroes. Someone who plays golf well is NOT a hero, neither are football, basketball, volleyball players or bowlers.

Movie stars aren't heroes. However, entertainers of the quality of Bob Hope and others who kept up the morale of our troops are heroes.

A father, mother, brother, sister or cousin who runs back into a burning building in order to save someone they love, they are heroes, sometimes dogs and even cats are heroes. Some LEOs(not all by any means)are heroes. Fireman(for the most part)are heroes.

Those are just a few examples of heroes.

Someone who can whack a little white ball with a stick and make it fly several hundred yards and go into to a hole in the ground and do it better than other people who whack the little white ball with a similar stick, most certainly are not heroes.

Someone who cheats on his wife and children, not just once but multiple times with multiple women during a 5 year marriage, is also not a hero.

Those are some of my definitions of heroes, Tiger doesn't qualify in my book.
