I wonder how one gets to be a GAO investigator whose job it is to probe incompetence and security lapses in the bureaucracy. This could be my dream job if I could get it.

actually, when I was in Mexico this year, I was told by a worker from the Mexico DMV, that you can buy a driver’s license through there department for any US state.
I wouldnt be surprised if our government gave them the templates for printing these. It’d be a lot easier than passing amnesty or giving them away in USA.

I have such great confidence in my government and every thing it touches.
We are so close to winning the War on Drugs, Terror, Poverty, etc. Should be another week and it will all have been won.

The investigator then used one of the fake passports to buy a plane ticket, obtain a boarding pass, and make it through a security checkpoint at a major U.S. airport. Except the passport was not fake! There is a huge difference between a fake document and a genuine document issued due to fraud!
