However, the alternatives like McCain, Kerry and Gore would have been worse.
You know the reason why we couldn’t find good candidates? Republicans have been “politically correct” by being against “personality politics”. We usually only learn to know the candidates during the campaign because our “political correctness” prevent us from exploring good candidates prior to primaries/election season.
Example: The attack of some Republicans against the supporters of Sarah Palin are mainly due to this political correctness.
Let the Conservatives field their potential candidates and let the media vet (i.e., field dress) them now than later.
More names of potential conservatives ... the better.
And let them follow the footsteps of Sarah. Fight now!
I predict that if we are led out of this mess it will be women who do it. Sarah, Michele Bachmann, and Liz Cheney have shown more spine than any 3 Republican males around today.
