I seem to recall that she once went to a campaign event of Pat's which took place in Alaska -- was that one of his presidential runs? Does she like him?
Good answer from Buchanan. How did Spitboy respond?
I always liked Pat even if he had a few problems with some issues. For the most part he was and is right. He was the one who paved the way for Sarah Palin. His pitchfork brigades will stand with Sarah when the time comes to reform the GOP.
It figures you would love the proto-fascist anti-Semite Buchanan.
But I never thought you’d have the balls to proclaim that love.
English isnt your first languate is it?
Where were you born?
*lolz*
Which is your first languate?
(No rush to reply, I’ll wait for your translators.)
So, where are you from - its not the US.
You’re command of English spelling and grammar is preposterously bad.
You misspelled "pro-fascist."
I was not trying to spell “pro-fascist.”
I guess youre not very proud of your homeland if you refuse to discuss it.
I pitched you a meatball in post 29 and you did not even notice it.
Your command of English grammar and spelling is worse than I thought.
Who are you to question my pride in America?
GFY
C’mon. Buchanan passed the “proto” stage years ago.
You do not seem to understand the distinction.
I do.
Well, since you do not wish to *discuss* the distinction, I’ll stop here.
To be honest Dem Guard,
I am quite impressed that Chris Matthews consistently invites guests such as Pat Buchanan to come on his show. While Fox News has surprised me by giving people libertarian-leaners such as John Stossel a show on the Business Network (not to mention Glenn Beck on the main network) —> the usual “breed” of conservatism expressed by commentators on FNC panels is lacking in diversity. Everyone seems to be on the Bush/Cheney doctrine and legacy bandwagon.
I do not agree with everything Pat Buchanan stands for, but he adds valuable points to the discussoin as do men like Congressman Ron Paul. (who has been on FNC lately, but more to discuss economic policy and not foreign policy.) Paul’s foreign policy challenges the typical assumptions of the conservative establishment and I don’t believe Fox News has been fair in giving people like him a platform from which to express his dissent. FNC anchor Carl Cameron was especially rude and condescending to Ron Paul during the GOP primary debates he moderated.
“I am quite impressed that Chris Matthews consistently invites guests such as Pat Buchanan to come on his show.”
I really don’t catch much of Matthews. I have seen Buchanan
on the show but it seems that Matthews tries to negate anything he says with some snide comment or cuts him off so I really can’t say Matthews is all that fair in any way.
