MEDINA CALLS PERRY ARROGANT ARISTOCRACY - “ALLOW TEXANS TO HEAR ALL CANDIDATES”
TheCypressTimes.com ^ | 12/08/2009 | Staff

There have been many invitations to participate in debates and forums coming through our (Debra Medina's) office. The public certainly deserves to hear from each of the candidates. Unfortunately, we’re receiving multiple reports that each time we confirm, the governor cancels. It seems that Rick Perry has learned, over the years, that in order to protect his incumbent status he must be in total control of who he is on stage with and holds the media hostage to his demands.

Oh...poor libs. Rick Perry is free to act as he chooses. The voters are free to respond. Let's see who they vote for.

If you are so upset...hold your event without him and see what impact you have.

Because Perry wont play your game, you are throwing a tantrum. Go ahead, see what good it does.

Well, that pretty well clinches it for me.

The demoRat mayor of Houston who is running for governor on the tax and spend ticket endorsed Kay Bailey-Hutchinson and now Medina is dissing Perry.

I'm voting for Perry.

Jeff, Medina is a staunch Conservative.

I heard Debra Medina and Richard Mack (AZ Sheriff) speak on Sunday. I’m supporting Medina for governor. To hell with RINOs.

Thanks for the info...was not aware of that.

The principles still apply...but perhaps equally to Medina.

Is Medina making it a three way race in the primary then?

Yes, she is trying to. She is by far the only candidate whose beliefs line up with conservative belief:

Here’s a good intro to Medina: http://www.thecypresstimes.com/article/News/Texas_News/A_CROWDED_RACE_FOR_GOVERNOR_BUT_ONLY_ONE_BIG_R_CANDIDATE/23535

Jeff why don’t you pull your “head” out and find out who Medina is before you start calling her a lib? Is your “head” so far up Perry’s arse that you don’t know a real conservative when one runs for office? Hair Perry is a camera conservative saying whatever he thinks is edgy enough to get him coverage but then pulling TTC, HPV vaccines, and raiding people’s home without due process. Maybe he’s been spending too much time in a “head” shop.

Nice knee jerk reaction, n00b.

Might want to read Jeff's subsequent posts.

Well maybe I was typing while he was still posting his second reply. Guess only you mega-posters are allowed to criticize, huh?

Talk about knee-jerk. He obviously just wanted to blast someone who might oppose his beloved prior to finding out who he was talking about.

As someone who has no “dog in the hunt”, it appears that she has potential.

I support any candidate who moves America toward conservative values.

I think the voters in Texas are, for the most part, smart enough to make the ‘right’ choice.

Well, No Apologies, if you had taken just a moment to read a little further before you spouted your knee jerk reaction, you would have seen where another poster let me know the score as regards Medina and I responded to that poster and thanked them for the info.

I am more than willing to admit that my own first post was off target...even though it was meant to support those running against Hutchison. Not knowing that Medina was a conservative in that camp, I mispoke. Now that I do know, my feelings appy equally (as I stated in my next post) to Medina. In that primary race, I sincerely hope and pray that the most conservative candidate wins.

Which, if you had approached it a little differently, I would have been happy to tell you. Heck, I'm happy to tell you now, despite your insults because the fight for our Republic, our liberty, our familes, etc. is much bigger and more important than getting into a tinkling contest with people who ought to be supporting one another.

So, cut the insults, let's set the misunderstanding aside, and continue the fight against liberals/leftists/out and out marxists...and anyone who abetts and supports them.

Well maybe I was typing while he was still posting his second reply.

My second post was at 0600, yours was at 0618...so that excuse wont fly. Ought to check the time stamps before making such an assertion.

He obviously just wanted to blast someone who might oppose his beloved prior to finding out who he was talking about.

1st, you do not know me in the least so you cannot realistically judge what I was obviously doing. 2nd, your own posts seem to be at least as appropriate targets for your complaints and crticisms.

So, read again my 1st response to you...it was sincere, and let's just try and rewind and move on without convening a circular firing squad.

Medina is supported by liberaltarian nutjob Ron Paul. She is no conservative. Perry is the conservative and any vote not for Perry is a vote for Hutchison. Why do you think KBH is so intent that Medina be allowed in the debates? Because she knows Medina will steal votes from Perry and give Kay Bailey the nomination.

Perry is the only electable alternative to KBH. Either you’re with Perry or you are with Hutchinson.

Sarah has endorsed Rick Perry. If he is good enough for Sarah he is good enough for me.
