"One thing Commander Quitter-in-Chief, Barack Obama, left out of his little West Point talk is that his new Afghan strategy has forced him to break a promise he made to the Army his first week on the job!...
...the...promise to soldiers that the Army would be moving to 2-for-1 Dwell Time that is, each soldier would get twice the time at home as deployed. That move,...was aimed at combating record-high rates of suicide, divorce, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder..."

Always, always remember that whenever his lips are moving it is always a lie, always.
He’ll just blame Bush for it
soros
Maybe Chris Matthews will pin Obowma to the mat and call his contradictions in to question? </sarc>
Obama is a serial liar. He wouldn’t know the truth or how to be honest if his worthless life depended on it. He knows nothing of honesty, integrity or truthfulness. No communist does.
You really need to break that out into categories. That way you can have a set of sub-pages for scandals, and another for broken promises, and another for lies etc etc. It’s getting too hard to find things, and by breaking it out, it becomes easier to point skeptics at a particular section.
Every one of his promises comes with an expiration date. Every one.
Yeah, the second it leaves his lips.
And every one of his broken promises is somebody’s last straw.
Actually Bush and Rumsfeld are to blame for over extending a small volunteer military in protracted desert wars. Bush should have either expanded the size of the military or instituted a draft to provide sufficient manpower to conquer and subdue Afghanistan and Iraq. Instead he tried to do it on the cheap through reduced stateside time between deployments to the war zone. This policy, which Obama is continuing, is hard on morale of the troops and families and over time reduces the effectiveness of the force.
If wars are truly in the national interest, then the citizens should be called upon to support it by providing men and supplies. This means more young people must serve in the armed forces (draft or expansion of the volunteer force) and the citizens should be willing to fund the war with higher taxes. Unfortunately, since Vietnam our government has chosen not to ask for sacrifices by the entire population. The unwillingness to do so suggests the government’s objectives were not shared by the citizens or the government intended to pursue the war in ways the citizens would not approve. As a result the few citizens in the military bear the entire burden while the rest of the population pretty much ignores the war since it doesn’t affect them.
Rush said once that everything that comes out of Obambi’s mouth has an expiration date.
Probably just as well the Army wouldn’t take my youngest. But I do think that “one strike you’re out” is a bit much in the face of all this.
uh oh....not soros!...that will get him kennedy-ed....mustn’t cross the puppet master....
